Thank You Gazeley Horsebox
First of all, we are in no way advertising, but would just like to say a very big thank you to Gazeley Horseboxes in Newmarket who really helped us out this morning and not with a horsebox.
We run a mobile snack bar just around the corner from their premises, but this morning we discovered that not only was the tow hitch sitting in a block of ice which we managed to eventually defrost, but that the lock into the trailer was frozen solid, but with a squirt of WD40 and Ice De-Lock we managed to get that open. But then we discovered the locked cupboard which houses all the gas bottles (to cook with) was also frozen. Eventually we did manage to get it unlocked, but during the force of trying to open it, we broke the door off the hinges so to speak.
With Gazeley around the corner, we phoned them up and spoke to David who said he would pop round. True to his word, he was round within minutes and said he could sort it out with no problem. He said he would come back in a little while which he did, and between him and Michael, they not only put the hinges back on, but also made the door safer and then checked all the locks for us and offered us some advice, and all this whilst we continued serving our customers, and wouldn't take anything for doing the work either. Needless to say, the offer of egg and bacon and cups of tea were offered.
We were truly grateful to them, a company we can highly recommend.
