Thank you guys for all your advice on how to keep Hattie fresh for today after her plod-only episode this week as we got 7th place in out dressage comp today!
We did some trotting poles in the field yesterday and a course of little jumps and we hacked out with my friend her her pony (Hatti's boyfriend) and she loved it.
It was the first time either of us have shown side saddle and she's definitely never done any dressage test side saddle before so we did the Intro A. She was ALOT more forward going and happy today. I cocked up some of movements in the test and don't know what happened to our corners (LOL!) but she did everything I asked of her and was so light to the leg. All I cared about today was keeping her happy and moving forward.
