To everyone who posted about my lovely Monty - I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

It has been extremely tough and having the support of everyone on HHO has made it so much easier. I have printed off the thread and have kept it with some photos of him.

This is such a wonderful forum, I'm sure all the advice and help I received on here meant that his last years were that much better.

Thank you so much everyone.

Glad we could be of service, not that I'm much help ever

Yay! Thank you, Zoomy always has plenty of shenanigans to inform you all of!!

I'm so lucky to have her. She has definately helped me through this since you can't help but smile when she trots over to the gate to greet you with her little donkey face

second that, Its a tough time when things go wrong with horses, and very emotional. I know how you felt, I also posted on here, when I lost my mare at Xmas, and I was also very touched by the reponses. But time does heal, gradually.
Hugs X

That's you bucked off next time you sit on her!

Have a top-up (hug) to help over the 'dips'. I don't care what anyone says, genuine sympathy from virtual friends does help and makes you feel much less alone.

I commented on your picture post but have just gone back through your posts to find out what happened properly.

I'm so sorry for the way he died in that it's a horrible ilness. But he didn't suffer for long and he had his bestest friends by his side. So well done for giving him everything you could right to the end. It was a beautiful story which has just made me really well up. Things like you and him make me believe in fate.

And lol at brighteyes 'that's you getting bucked off next time you sit on her!' haha.

Hey

everyone here understands how much losing a loved horse can hurt, I'm sure you don't need to say thank you but you are welcome all the same! x

I only read your post from last week today, what an awful thing to happen, am so sorry. I'm pretty new to this forum lark and I'm impressed with what I see, most of the time. Keep us updated with Zoom's antics xxx
