May I please convey my heartfelt thanks to horse and hound magazine for publishing today's feature 'Outrage over condition of ponies at sale'. This is such an important issue and you through your article have helped to raise awareness of the conditions that some ponies suffer before going through a sale to face an uncertain future.

And how heartwarming to see the picture of Debbie Barr, the new owner of Sunwillow Hernani, I am sure that she will now have the very best of care, and will soon no doubt be back to her former glory.

Please if I may could I ask your members to visit the facebook page 'action to stop the plight of welsh ponies', where a group of people are working hard to help many more ponies have a similar happy ending.

Well done H&H for highlighting this very important issue, the more people that are aware of this the better. If it stops people from buying his ponies out of sympathy then he will soon be forced to go out of business or look after his ponies.

There is still a way to go though, so please would everyone reading about this help with promoting the need for ALL breed societies to UPHOLD WELFARE, and REDUCE the number of animals being bred.
The two things are crucial if we are to avoid seeing the likes of Sunwillow Hernani and others looking like hell in the future.
