I was very lucky as a child to be bought a pony just after my fifth birthday, but I gave up horses and riding when I got pregnant over 11 years ago to please my husband.
A few months ago I was given the chance to help someone exercise their ponies/horse and was able to teach my children the basics about horses.
Well today J (who is on here but I don't want to embarrass her) taught my eldest how to master rising trot; my lovely girl has gone from bouncing about with lots of effort to get a rhythm to getting right every time she tried.
So thank you so much J for helping us and letting us be a part of your yard.
