I'm so sorry for what you've gone through and I hope your back improves as time goes on, here's to a full recovery. I can't imagine the trauma you've had to endure and only time and support will help that. You've been in many many people's thoughts on here and will continue to be so. Awful to lose a treasured horse like that, a small blessing that it was instantaneous - RIP Benson.

Glad to hear you are on the way to recovery, I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your horse.
We all take our lives in our hands on today's roads - I wish there was something we could do to get traffic to slow down

exactly! The police think the car hit us at about 60mph, so we had no chance. You would think out in the country people would know better but obviously not.

glad to hear you are able to walk, all my good wishes for a speedy recovery, awful that you had to go through this horrific ordeal, so shocked when i heard the story - what a nightmare. RIP Benson x

Didn't know that this had happened, you poor thing, my heart goes out to you, hope you continue to recover and so so sorry about your horse.

I know it doesn't make things better for you but I hope they throw the book at the driver.

They really need to change the law here - the national speed limit signs on country roads make stupid peopel think they can go as fast as they like. Really it should be 40 with a caution sign, there's no need to go that fast on a country road, what would the drive have done if a tractor had been there instead of poor you?

So sorry to hear of your loss, I really hope it does get better in time.

So sorry to hear it was you that had the accident, we were all wondering if it was :-(

What a terrible thing to happen, I'm nearly in tears sitting here at the thought of what you have been through. Sending you lots and lots of love and hugs (very gentle one's)

An absolutely heartbreaking time for you and my utmost sympathy in your loss of your beloved horse.

Country roads are like racing circuits to many and fast shortcuts to the rest. 60mph round a bend is horrific.

RIP Benson and I hope your recovery in every aspect is as easy as it can be for you.
