I posted nearly a year ago when I was at the end of my tether with lots of personal stuff going on and 3 horses.
I just wanted to say thank you to all the lovely posters who posted with comforting words and give an update.
Unfortunately my old boy, and the love of my life, was pts in April. I still miss him every day.
I don't know how but my younger boy (who had a chronic hind suspensory issue disagnosed and I felt was on pts road in November last year) has come good and has been out competing in dressage and showing. Fingers crossed he stays sound, I don't think he'll ever be easy to manage but if he does he will teach me lots.
And my mare, who was difficult to catch and driving me completely mad, was diagnosed with arthritis in her spine. We are now mid rehab (will the rehab never end?!). We have a much better relationship and for the first time ever this week she showed pleasure at having a spot scratched.
It still feels like early days with both the younger boy and the mare and I'm sure there will be more hiccups but the horse side is predominantly good at the moment. So thank you all xxx
