Thank you to those who recommended I give Cecil salmon oil and onychotin (sp? We are out walking!) capsules.
We have just been to the vets for boosters and they asked if I had any concerns, I mentioned the claw pulling and that he’d become really awkward about having his claws handled (which he sweetly displayed to the vet)
She said his claws all look very healthy and all she’d advise was exactly as you guys did, saying it was the perfect way to manage it.
He hasn’t pulled one in ages now either so we are both very grateful for the advice.
