Thank you for all of your lovely messages and vibes yesterday for my little boy, thought it best i give you an update on here about his progress today!

I recieved a call from Alfies vet this afternoon to say that he had been operated on and that he was now up and although a bit groggy was looking fine. The lump within his foot looks suspiciously like a keratoma and has now been removed and sent to histology for further tests etc. I'm so relieved he has got over this first part of his recovery, just got to hope and pray now that he doesn't get any infection in his foot, but so far so good. Can't wait to visit him and give him a huge cuddle!!

Thanks for the vibes again everyone... Never had to ask for them before but they certainly seem to work!!

Cheers L, we've been absolutely worried sick about him... To think all this has been going on inside him, and his only symptoms were a very very slight unsoundness on a straight line and on a circle on a surface and then a more exagerated lameness on a circle on the hard. Quite scary really!!

So glad to hear the good news that the op's over and he's fine. Hope his recovery goes well now and he's back to full health very soon. Just give him lots of tlc - that's good medicine.

Nikkiportia, i forgot to answer you on my other post last night. I remember seeing your little box, it was a light coloured cream?? one in the main diagnostics bit, wasn't it?? Andy Bathe is Alfies vet there and was the one who operated on him today. Im just so glad it all went without a hitch. Are you going there anytime soon with any other babies for xrays etc?? Im hoping to go visit sometime either this week or early next!
