Thanks to all last night for helping through the tense negotiations - i felt as if i were with loads of freinds waiting - so thankyou all!
I was awake at 3 this morning worrying about everything!
This morning i took him with my AI friend on her steady horse onto the stubble field as i needed to trot and canter him out. The trot was amazing he just glided along nicely - i have figured out how to get his head down and on the bit to stop him rushing - then came the canter - OMG! He doesnt feel 15 years - he whizzed off with his head right up in the air - i was bouncing about on his back and couldnt figure out how to bring his head down so i couldnt stop him! he didnt really run away it was just totoal lack of comunication between us - so i will be having lessons starting this week and will not be cantering him out till i know how to ride him. He also has to be 'debriefed' about jumping mode and reschooled back into dressage mode (if you know what i mean) He did a big spook whilst cantering and another when we were walking - but my instructer freind said she had never seen me so relaxed!
So all in all it wasnt too bad today and as my freind said after riding heavy on the forehand cobs for so many years i will have to learn to ride anything new that i get.
Thanks for reading this far - piccys will be arriving soon as i get camera fixed x x x
