soppy thread coming right up
My horse is just brilliant Ive always been scared of hacking, hated it with a passion and the only times I ever hacked before her surgery was when friends pestered me to go with them.
Now, (because I had no choice) I started hacking, and Roo has been amazing, she's really got me feeling tons better about going out.
BUT I couldnt be without that Body Protector now. I kept thinking to put it on would be tempting fate, and so it sat in a wardrobe for a good 6 months. But it just gives me the confidence not to get off when she does have a tantrum

So I wont be going hacking without my body protector or my neck strap any time soon. But at least now I can go out and enjoy my hacking

Well done! Glad you're, feeling more confident! I always try to ride with my BP on - you never know when you might need it - and I pop a neckstrap on F for when he is nappy!

Don't forget I'll be dragging you out with me again this summer for that pub ride, now we have got the nice warm sunny weather, all the more reason to stop for drink at few watering holes on our way round.

....all the more reason for our BP's! as well ;):D

Well done :)

Iv just moved my mare to a new yard and the first ride was horrible :( But the second time I wore my BP and the change in confidence in myself knowing I had it on was great. I wasnt so nervous and she wasnt so silly :)
Ill be wearing mine hacking now all the time...even if it does make me sweat like crazy :)
