who reported me for my signature being too big:rolleyes: It was barely bigger than it is now, which I have confirmed is now acceptable. There are lots of signatures on here way bigger than mine was - so thank you to the petty person who pushed the button.

Really? Are people still doing that? Just turn off show pictures if you are that offended... Gah!

New sig is nice, never saw old one.

Lovely people hey!! I had the same one since i joining whenever it was and somebody reported my after i posted pics of my daughter!!! Must have very sad lives!!!

I believe that larger signatures can slow up those people who are accessing by other means than that of a conventional computer, indeed, if I come here on my ipod, it's a nightmare to scroll all the time because of large signatures...

And no, it wasn't me, I just don't bother using the 'net on anything but my laptop or desktop now, and will only go on the iPod or my mobile if I need the 'net and am out and about...

So more than likely, it's NOT out of spite.

:)

ditto, thanks to the button pusher who made me get rid of my siggy (can't work out how to make it smaller than it was), and of course extreme gratitude to the button-pusher who reported me the other evening and got me a warning for 'advertising', and got the post pulled, when i posted about a friend of a friend's really sweet retired SJer who is available on free loan... yes, of course, i was going to make a lot of ££s out of that!
:( :( :(

yup, i now have an infraction:o

dragon slayer i see your point, especially frustrating with big signatures but honestly, mine was barely bigger than it is now.

K - it's really easy to resize your sig on photobucket :)

I have never and will never report a sig, but really, it isn't rocket science! And you do agree to the t&cs every time you log on...

It might not be a button pusher in either the sig case or Kerrili's thread.

Might just be tfc scrolling through as happens sometimes when threads are moved.

photobucket's gone weird as hell on me, it only shows pb mobile even on laptop and i can't get it to switch back, so i can't get it to do anything. argh.
i read HHO on my iPhone and siggies don't come up at all...

Mine did that - if you scroll to the very bottom of the page and click onto 'View full website' it will take you back to the normal site :)

'Get a life' is what springs to mind for button pushers. God, maybe they need our pity for being so bored its all they can find to do!

If the sigs are too wide across the page, it is a nightmare if you're on a Netbook as you have to keep scrolling across to read each post.

Wasn't me by the way :).

I PM people and tell them (as I did Annie's when she first joined ... it was huuuuuuge :o).

I did have a rude response back from somebody, so button pushed her :D.
The couple of people I did PM were great about it :).

I'm no longer on a Netbook, so don't tend to see many that appear to be too wide :)

Mine looks massive, but I swear it's less than the stipulated 200 x700 pixels  I think

It is... sort of! Right click on the sig and go to Inspect Element. Click on 'Metrics' on the right hand column and you can see the size of your sig. However, sigs also include any lines of text under the graphic so you may still be oversize, you naughty girl :p

Hehe wow! I'm surprised you remember that! I had no idea it was you :P In my defense, that was the siggy size I was used to from other forums :) Though I must thank you for the nice and friendly PM :) Much better than just getting button pushed!

I didn't factor in the extra line of text  FAIL :D

I think it should be a bit smaller now?

eta... or not, back to pb with me

ARGH!

My eyes! My eyes!

Your ebil signature caused a global meltdown in my laptop's CPU and caused a functional....

What?

...right. I'll shut up now.

:D

Peace X

Don't mock! OK it's reduced in size on PB to 180 x 400odd but I can't get it to reduce on here :( I hate computers :(

Don't worry, it can take a while after resizing on pb before the change is apparent here, no idea why though

PS head back to the 'men's jodhs' thread, Chris is back :D
