Further to my previous post last week about trying to find maternity (or very stretchy!) jods, some of you suggested Kerrits. I bought a pair from Three Lows (which arrived extremely quickly even with free postage) and they are SO comfortable! They are more like tights so not exactly heavyweight material so I dont know how long they'll last but they'll definately be perfect for the next few months of doing the odd dressage comp whilst my waist expands! Didnt know jods could be so comfy so will def be buying more of these in future (once the bump goes down again!). Thanks all :) :)

they're bliss, aren't they? sitting here in my summerweight ones now!
fwiw their winter weight Sit Tight Supremes are absolutely toasty (and super-sticky in the saddle). they're so warm that i can't sit around in them on the sofa in the evening, have to change or i boil over!
which ones did you get, out of interest? i've got the ribbed Flex Tight Fullseats on and I think they're the comfiest so far... :) :) :)

Kerilli, I ordered the "Flow Rise Performance Tight" just because they were the cheapest to try them out, but what has arrived has a full seat and from the full seat shape look like the Breath Tight II ones (which are about £25 more expensive)! So I'm slightly confused but more than happy. I got the "tan" colour which does look slightly green compared to the beige they look on the website so not perfect for competing but they'll certainly do. Think the warm ones sound brilliant for winter riding since I've just come in from riding with numb thighs! Shame they're a little pricey but hey ho, if they're worth it.

Thanks sbloom, didnt know there were other makes of these "tight" sort of jods. Will look into those too, may never go back to normal jods again!

i have a pair of winter-weight black (thermal?) Irideons and am not in love with them tbh, they're fairly comfy but nothing like as comfy as the Kerrits, probably because they're much shorter in the rise and i'm a bit long waisted. Plus the full-seats are nothing like as sticky, i don't trust them at all! :( :(

Where did you buy the Kerrits from please? Am off to Google, but happier about recommended sites!

Three Lows Equestrian is the only U.K. stockist. They didn't have what I wanted in stock, so I ordered direct from the U.S. site, nice and reasonable because of the exchange rate but it's a bit of a lottery whether you get charged by customs or not! hope that helps.

Umm, I love the Channel Rib flex-tights, they're super-comfy and really flattering, as well as super-sticky. sort of Spring and Autumn weight (fine for now though as it's unseasonably warm). The winter-weight Sit Tight Supremes are fabulous too.

The hunter/jumpers wear tan breeches and they are notorious for being a slightly snot green colour  White is the main competition colour for the US sports, so best avoid their beige breeches!

Aah that explains it. Not a massive fan of this greeny colour but they'll be ok. I'll likely buy some white ones (once the bump has gone!) but not ideal as I event so whites not really the norm. Maybe once the market takes off a bit more here, they'll make them more beige! ;)

What's the sizing like? Would you usually order a size bigger, smaller or normal?

The sizing is that medium is a 10-12 and then large is 14-16 etc. so you dont get an exact size but they're super stretchy. I chose the large as I'm a 14 currently (with the bump which is due to expand) and these fit perfectly with room to go bigger. Hope that helps!

yep, because they're stretchy, the sizing isn't exact.
fwiw i'm a 26/28 in Pikeur, Cavallo etc (size 10 ish normal clothes) and I'm a medium kerrits, but i have a pair of winterweight in large and they're fine, and a pair of summerweight in small and they're fine too!
glad to read about the slightly snot green tan colour, i'll avoid those! ugh!

Since the beginning of his thread, I have been looking at the website..a lot !!
For today, when the heavens opened, I needed a waterproof warm grippy pair,
What would you suggest from the range?

Just got two pairs of these after reading this post. Wore them today and they are lovely. So comfy. Great service from three lows equestioan when I emailed to change the colour. Love the storm grey colour, also got latte brown ones. I got the flow rise model. The sizing is good with plenty of stretch, nice thick waist band. Thanks for recommending. I might get a pair of white ones in future too.
