Ok me and Jack got down the vets for 2 oclock, thinking it will give us half hour to settle him down after the journey. Didnt have time so we had to go straight to see the big scary vet

We trotted him up and down, lunged him and straight away he said stifle, i was jumping up and down at this point thanking god it wasnt what i thought it was (PSD)

I told the vet i want to know exactly whats wrong so xray, scan, nerve block etc etc, what ever it takes and that i wanted to know. So we done scans and xrays, we found it to be an enlarged lateral colateral ligamnet in his stifle! Sorry about the spelling!

The treatment is 6 weeks rest, start turning him out tomorrow (yay) for 2 hours, then build it up, by the time 6 weeks are up he should be out completley during the day.

He thinks he will be completley sound by then, start introducing ridden work

If all goes to plan, and he keeps calm, no running around and jumping about, this should never cause any further problems
