Had a soft spot for hector and his roman nose , he will be sorely missed by you but like every one has said .. you did the right thing when it truely mattered when it comes to owning horses and thats what makes you a loyal and deserving owner .

Just to say he was a beautiful boy and hold onto your happy memories - even now after 12 years I still think of some of the things my daft old mare used to do and smile.

He was one good looking horse and will be hard to replace.

Hope your pain fades and the memories help you.

I did not know your horse, but know what it is like to lose a loved horse... celebrate his life with you and enjoy and remember those moments.......
 
Really sorry to hear about Hector but we all know how much you cared about him and you gave him the best and he clearly loved you for it. He was such a lovely boy and couldnt have had a better home. RIP Hector.XXX
 
Madhector I am so very sorry. You should be proud of yourself for being so selfless. Hector was a very lucky man to have you for his owner.....not everyone is as brave or as selfless as you have been.

I am glad he is staying home with you. Sleep well Hector.
 
When he really needed someone to give him a happy and peaceful life after many years of devotion to his owners, you were there.
I think that is incredibly admirable and, in my opinion, one of the kindest thing you can do for a horse.

RIP Hector, he was very lucky to have found you.
