A BIG Thankyou for all your lovely replies on my

'Shes only gone and thrown me a coloured aggghhhh' Post!

To answer a few questions i cant get hold of the owners who had her when she must of been covered- they've moved on but the people who have taken over said they used to breed Irish Sport Horses at the yard previously so its a possiblity the daddy may be one of them as she lived next door to the stud in a little field

No chance of her being full Sec D which is a shame but she makes up for it in so many ways

Mum is fantastic... i happily sat in the stable with her while mum dozed and baby dozed next to me reading my book this morning, i can feel and tickle her all over with no problems.

She foaled this morning about an hour before i arrived up the yard- so around 9am out in the field.
(at 8.30am a girl took her horse out and was getting it ready for a show and there was no baby and i arrived at 10am to see a baby standing in the field)

Because i dont know who dad is i can only hope that baby grows to a minimum of 14hh as otherwise shes a tad too small for me which would be a huge shame but if thats the case i know of plenty of PC's who she could be loaned to when the time came and i will continue with my little star of a mare who i love dearly- with or without her baby shes my little star!

Mum is also looking extremely slimmer now- with the grass belly/baby belly completely gone!

Names ive thought of were

Cheyenne (said.. shy-ann)
Storm

any others? I quite like dakota mum likes chiane....

Perhaps she waited for me

Ah, I'm still so made up for you!

Kismet (fate) is still my fav, but how about:

Destiny
Anrheg (Welsh for gift)
Serendipity (happy accident - you can use Seren, Welsh for star, as her stable name)
Chance
Iris (Greek goddess of the rainbow and messenger, also a fab son by the Goo Goo Dolls)

I've wanted to call a horse that since I almost bought a beautiful dun mare 5 years back. Her name was Noddy and I was going to change it (bad luck and all) as we just clicked. That wasn't fated (though now I have Titan, love of my life) but this is!

I think that he is gorgeous too, and he has a temperament to die for, not a mean bone in his body.....

EF..... I hope your youngster turns out big enough for you, I would imagine that ISH's are generally a reasonable size..... although little Castlemouse was apparently a ISH

I would love a surprise baby..... of the equine variety

I like
Serendipity (happy accident/coincidence) Sera or dipi for short
Iris (greek goddess)
Angel (because she is one)

Have to be honest not so sure on kismet, it reminds me too much of kermit as in the frog! Sorry.

She is your little baby and the decision is yours (as they say)

Hope mum and baby are doing well!
