A BIG Thankyou for all your lovely replies on my
'Shes only gone and thrown me a coloured aggghhhh' Post!
To answer a few questions i cant get hold of the owners who had her when she must of been covered- they've moved on but the people who have taken over said they used to breed Irish Sport Horses at the yard previously so its a possiblity the daddy may be one of them as she lived next door to the stud in a little field
No chance of her being full Sec D which is a shame but she makes up for it in so many ways
Mum is fantastic... i happily sat in the stable with her while mum dozed and baby dozed next to me reading my book this morning, i can feel and tickle her all over with no problems.
She foaled this morning about an hour before i arrived up the yard- so around 9am out in the field.
(at 8.30am a girl took her horse out and was getting it ready for a show and there was no baby and i arrived at 10am to see a baby standing in the field)
Because i dont know who dad is i can only hope that baby grows to a minimum of 14hh as otherwise shes a tad too small for me which would be a huge shame but if thats the case i know of plenty of PC's who she could be loaned to when the time came and i will continue with my little star of a mare who i love dearly- with or without her baby shes my little star!
Mum is also looking extremely slimmer now- with the grass belly/baby belly completely gone!
Names ive thought of were
Kismet (thankyou muffino)
Seren (also suggested thankyou)
Dakota
Dolly
Cheyenne (said.. shy-ann)
Storm
any others? I quite like dakota mum likes chiane....
Perhaps she waited for me
