I have to say, I just watched it and I found the tongue think revolting. Nor did the poor creature look particularly comfortable or light in the hand. Was it me or was he very stiff in front? Sorry if this has been discussed before, I'm a novie to all this so feel free not to answer!

I've just watched the video and have never seen anything like that before. Its awful and I feel so sorry for the poor horse having its neck bent in such and unnatural way. Is this common practice for top dressage riders?

I'm afraid so....for some, not all thank goodness, but now the FEI are holding an investigation something might be done about it at last.....I am an eternal optimist.
