Just one of those pathetic 'I love my pony and I'm sad but happy' posts really!
My beautiful little Titchy is sold. I'm really pleased as she needed to be sold (way too small for me and too nice to be a grass cutter) and has been bought by a lovely family to be an all rounder for a 14 year old girl and they are moving her to the yard next door! So she's not really going that far. However I'm also understandably sad. I've had her since she was 1, known her since she was 6 months old, and she's turned into a lovely 4 year old. In one fell swoop I've gone from 7 equine legs (Genie STILL off work lame - going to the specialists tomorrow at long last) to 3 and I'm going to miss her.
My wonderful Mum came and took some pictures of me with my girls yesterday. It took forever due to uncooperative ponies and uncooperative camera but we got there in the end!
Baby Titchy
Running her for her old owner at 6 months old
The day she arrived with me as a yearling
First day turned out when I thought 'Yikes... this can MOVE!'
Showing as a yearling and qualifying for the BSPA Festival Of Colour and the SWPA Championships
As a 2 year old... Took numerous Champions and Reserves including Champion Youngstock at the A&B WPCS Medal Show and Reserve Champion Part-Bred Welsh at the same show.
First time I rode her after backing by my wonderful trainer - the easiest pony to back EVER. Just got on and off they went! I've ridden her a grand total of 7 times - I'm WAY too big and heavy for her hence just the odd quick sit.
And from yesterday...
This sums up the girls perfectly. Titchy saying 'Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!' and Genie going 'Go. Away.'
And finally I love this photo of me and my girls.
Cookies and milk to everyone!
