I am sure you know the one I am talking about. I feel insulted that they should accept such an intrusive advert . Shows what they think about us .
TFC is on to it![]()
Me too! Accidently brought it up 3 times trying to post reply to this thread! Doing my head in![]()
TFC relied to a thread about this :
Not our domain I'm afraid (we only administer the forum we do not run the site or place the ads). We will, however, pass on the comments of this thread, though I suspect it won't be seen and/or addressed until tomorrow.

ad block for Google chrome is an absolute god send. Blocks adverts on youtube too which is a bonus. give it a google. its free. Think the web browser firefox do a similar app as well if I remember correct![]()
I kept wondering what people were complaining about - I'd totally forgotten I'd installed Adblock! That explains the little empty box at the top of my window...
Seriously worth a look - I think there are versions for various browsers. As I say, forgot I was using it, and it must be doing its job cos I couldn't work out where you were all seeing ads
EDIT: not affiliated with it in any way, and it's free, so wouldn't make sense if I was!
Be careful installing Firefox - I did for this very reason and it introduced unwanted toolbars like a virus and I had to remove the whole lot. It affected my Microsoft Office Outlook and I had to uninstall and reinstall the whole suite and somehow in the process lost all my emails including those I thought were safely stored on the Tiscali server.
When you download Firefox it gives you the option to disable that search engine/toolbar, you only have to untick the box but if you have downloaded it and don't want it go into FF options > toolbars and remove it, very easy.
If it affected MS Outlook did you have it set as your default email as when I used Outlook it was fine for me?
