I was not going to ride today. Its too cold, i was sore all over from the aforementioned cold, and i had planned a nice long day at the yard tomorrow and having a big proper ride and yadda yadda. Get to yard and i just thought flip i have to ride, horse has had a day of nothing yesterday and vet advised i ride him regularly to keep him fit. Had a good ride anyway so happy with that.

Get home and cook dinner, only to grab a gravy pot handle with my barehand cause im a twit, so i then automatically let go and hit my pinky finger off the pot and i now have a lovely blistered finger and would most definitely NOT fancy riding tomorrow. Inside of my hand is ok cause its tough as old boots.

In other news, i posted a thread just as the forum went down - was selling a locker to a lady on my yard and gave her the key. She then decided she couldnt afford it, and has lost the key! Shes said someone stole it....load of tosh. So now i need to get a new key, and no point keeping it at the yard cause the lady has a spare!

Here is a cute pic of my foals new rug to cheer me up. Won't actually get to use it before its outgrown as i like to keep her au natural, but its cute anyway.

You can probably replace the barrel of the lock on the locker. Make the woman who lost the key pay.

Hope your hand isn't too sore

I think its one of the types you can just get a key cut from the number, so its not a massive issue that way, just an expense i didn't really want for a CHEAP locker. No point asking her for the money for it, put it this way - she owes half the country!
