ok so we all have that one special horse that we will always remember and love for what they have done for us. so i thought i would be nice to share a photo and say why this horse is or was so special to you.

right ok so mine is Joe, he is my 16.1 TB gelding. he is special to me because he has been there for me when everything in my life went wrong, he would listen when no one else would he has patience and has taught me never to under estimate the most innocent looking horse. we have had such amazing times together and he is the most fun you can have on 4 legs. and for that he is my horse of a lifetime. I love you boy to the stars and back xxx

mine is my welsh gelding who injured his leg 4 years ago cost me 6k to fix but worth every penny to have him here ! brought him on as a 4 year old and now he is back in work and on loan to kids on yard beside mine so he is always where i am but he can have fun pony clubbing again

I have three (greedy).

First is the first horse I actually bought myself, a 23 year old TB mare that was a bag of bones and sores. She turned about to be the best £200 I ever spent and gave me 6 years of fun and pleasure. Breeze never slowed down until her field accident and it has been 14 years after she died, I still really miss her.

Cairo - not actually mine, but my OH's. Had to be pts in July 2008 following liver failure, he spent all his life fighting cancer. The most gentle giant that has a huge piece of my heart.

and finally, Chancer - bought as a yearling and 6 this year and so far proving to be all I could dream of.

ive been lucky enough to come across 2 in my lifetime

and hopefully the current one will turn into one of those 'one in a million' horses.

The first was my 2nd ever pony called folly. He was such a star and looked after me so well. He was the most honest loving pony you could find

here is my one in a million horse who is gone but Never ever forgotten..he is Merlin aka Fat Boy Slim 15.1hh CB x I had owned him for 10years and he is my one in a million cos throughout the real tough times in my life he was always there to listen to me was there for me to hug and hug all day long, take me on the most wonderful rides and took me for a great swim the day we went to the beach, we looked after each other so well he was my true best friend and although he is no longer here with me in body he certainly is in spirit and I love him forever and thank him for all the times we had together....even the big bucks when he got excited going for a leg stretch...LOL..

Toto is my first pony, we bought him for me and my sister to share, and my mum occassioanlly has a go on him too
smile.gif

When we first got him, I was a nervous rider to say the least! I've fell off him more times than I can count, lost all my confidence, gained it all back, laughed, cried, had the time of my life with this little pony
smile.gif
He's been there through the toughest times of my life, I love him to pieces
grin.gif
He truely is one special pony
