Thats a first, got asked if I was Gay!

An alternative (more realistic) view - she was desparate for any straight male that had an interest in horses. :p

realism is so dull. It's much more entertaining to view the world through the eyes of a fantasist.

course, getting them to give up their eyes in the first place can be tricky :D

I am surprised nobody has asked why was she even asking the question, when you are watching a horse being ridden well or even badly, Is the first thing you think of , looking at that rider is he or she gay ?

To be honest it is not really something that has any impact on as far as I am concerned a horses rider, seems really weird to me but who knows maybe I am the weird one.

My OH who has finally made the venture into learning to ride (he got my horse working in an outline on his first lesson....I still struggle with that :p), read your post OP, and he said that the women were probably just jealous of your riding! ;)

Go good men riders! :D

This!!! That sounds about right in Britain :D the thing I wonder about sometimes is why equestianism is especialy at the grass roots is so femail dominated
in the uk? it certainly isnt in the rest of the world!!! and as for men not being sensitive riders
LOL ...

You see I would have very sweetly replied "Yes love - I'm a lesbian".......

You're getting slow in your old age :p

Your acting skills clearly need bruishing up.....;):D:D:D

O of course the answer could have been 'Yes I am a lesbian - I fancy women......':D:D:D

I'd have told them you'd had a sex change. Then pose and ask them if you make a good man :p

Sorry - I was thinking of this picture:

Hmmm it's when guys pose in joddies showing rather too much that you start to wonder ;)

LOL who really cares.

When I'm at the yard (haven't been there long) I am the ONLY guy there and seem to be constantly followed and surrounded ?! And one of the girls made a comment the other day 'Ah so you're Matt, the girls were saying Clive's new loaner was a hottie!'

Terrifying! I found it hilarious, I'd like to think it's true but I'm sure it's just the desperate-ness of wanting a straight guy into horses and being the only guy on the yard hahahaha.

(The funny thing is I DON'T batt that way and haven't said anything, haven't been asked either, I'm having too much fun lol).

I thought Mr W was gay when we first met... And I married him and we have a son so not a marriage of convenience! ;)

Just gotta love stereotyping! :D
Lots of people assume I'm a lesbian because I have short hair and dont usually wear make up, lol. This is at work and weird, because my mate, who IS a lesbian, and also works with me, is very girly and wears 'pretty' clothes and make up and has long blonde hair!!
Gay/straight/bi - who cares anyway :D
PaddyMonty - love your horse! :)
