Ad this week i have seen that is offering a YEARLING for sale thats "been sat on by the kids and is wonderful in every way" RANT OVER!!! WHY, WHY WHY??????? Would put me off right away...

would put me off too. Makes me think they have done too much/rushed it etc. I hate it - I own a yearling and would never dream of sitting anything on it at 12 months

Thats a bit harsh "been sat on by a child" is not going to "wreck" a horse god TB's are racing as 2 year olds much earlier than the official breaking in age

Hmmmmm

Long term or short term undue stress on joints and backs can be caused by overfeeding too. Let's hope they aren't guilty of that one, eh?

Think I'd prefer a pony of one that a kid had sat on a couple of times than a four year-old which had been overfed since birth and broken late.

Assuming they are all the facts of course

thats part of the the reason alot of them don't race for long, they are mature (both pyscally or metal) to take that.

would you send you child to work even for and hour at a young age?
