I agree, we can't win! I spent an hour on the tractor with leveller going round the menage trying to persuade the frost below the surface to break....no such luck!

Yep here in Yorkshire too! I nearly cried with relief when I saw grass this morning! Then I nearly cried full stop when I took pony into the school for the first time in about 5 weeks and he turned himself inside out on the lunge, fell over, got up, ran round and then was so tense to ride I was slightly concerned. Fingers crossed it stays mild and I can have round 2 tomorrow!

My horse is totally bored so this morning thought finally Id be able to lunge. Not a chance, school now resembles a lake as all the drains are still frozen 
. Fields are lethal and the yard, well I drove in but got knows how I got out. Its a skating rink. Still, its better than the snow.
