I posted some months ago for suggestions for a new breed that would suit our requirements for the perfect family dog, and you were all so brilliant that I thought you deserved an update and some puppy pics now that everything is finalised. I had loads of suggestions and spent lots of happy hours researching them. I’m delighted to announce that, after all that, we went with…
None of them 😂 isn’t that always the way? Although, I think someone suggested a Yorkie so they were closest. Somewhere along the line, during all my reading, we stumbled across their ‘cousin’, the Biewer Terrier- a dog i had never come across but which seems to tick every single requirement. Tiny and cute for OH but playful and outgoing to fit in with our busy family life. Low shed, cuddly, cat, car and office friendly… if he turns out to be everything the breed is meant to be he will be perfect. And if not, we’ll forgive him. How could you not with those eyebrows?
All being well he will join us in June. We cannot wait.

He's is really cute. I looked up the Biewer Terrier as I'd never heard of them before and they are gorgeous. Keep us updated, especially with photos!

oh thats what my friend had! She did tell me once and I forgot and just always thought of him as a splodgy yorkie! I don't really do little dogs, but that one I would have made the exception for! He was quite happy wandering round for 10mins on the lead, but he also came out with my whippets and tried his hardest to keep up as they went charging off. Initially I thought he was too small, but if they looked like they were going to bump into him, he just flattened himself on the floor and they sailed over the top.

He was the gamest, sweetest little dog! I don't think you will be sorry you picked him 😁 😁

What a pretty boy, have you got a name yet? Or are we going to have fun choosing for you ?
We like old man names, preferably with a link to one of OH’s musical heroes. His predecessor was Stanley (Paul Stanley) and current front runner for this guy is Rodney (Stewart), although we did consider Kenny Rogers because his mum is called Lucille 😂 couldn’t quite picture myself on the beach calling for Kenny Rogers however!

Dream first meet with the wee yin yesterday. It was as if he knew we were there for him: he was straight up to us and even when his brothers and sister lost interest he stayed with us making my son laugh by trying to eat his crocs and wrestling with his fingers. I have one totally besotted wee boy who has been talking about him, drawing him, singing and dreaming about him ever since. The start of a beautiful friendship.

And we settled his name. Can’t wait to bring you home little Angus.
