And it is good news :D after this post the other day http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=388106 we were pretty sure that there would be no hope left for Pharaoh. The opthalmologist is almost certain that its secondary uveitis but will not know for sure until he has seen him, so when Pharaoh next has a flare up (probably in 2 or 3 months time) he is to go straight to them to be assessed. If it is then there is a possibility that they can do an operation to remove his scar tissue from the rig operation (which always swells first and he has to go on antibiotics for it) which means that its likely he will never get a flare up again, or maybe strong antibiotics for a year - we just don't know. Unfortunately there is still a strong possibility that he will be pts but not until they have seen him atleast :D Sorry for the self indulgent post! We have spent days discussing possible dates etc if they couldnt help so it's great to be able to spend atleast a couple more months with him :)
