The Back Brace is Off!!!

Fantastic news Mrs M !!

I know how hard it will be to not ride for a while, but it will fly by (with the dreaded C coming up too ). Shy is supposed to be "turned away" till spring, but I can't resist a quick ten minutes hack here and there twice a week , I was getting so impatient - I managed three months I think.

I'm so glad you back is healing - and thanks for your message re mine ! There is nothing worse than a back injury, is there. Having been stuck in Shy's field yesterday, trying to work my way up to standing up, you have every best vibe I can send you. I looked like a right plonker

Yowch. That sounds painful :(. Fully understand the ten minute hacks :D :D

EEEK!!! Good for you! I don't blame you!!

I bust my ribs a good few years ago (collapsed lung etc..) and it took me years to stop acting like I was made of glass! But I was a stupid kid then and didn't let myself recover properly.

February will be here before you know it - think how scarily close Christmas is already!!

xxx

I imagine that would hurt . I will be wearing the brace again tomorrow - a trip to London via train... I'll go First, but there's the crowds and I'm a bit paranoid :rolleyes:

Christmas! Eek! I've bought a couple of pressies (I think... Wonder where I put them...).

Just seen the qualifier on your siggy. How goes the four legged one?

Oh Mrs M that's great news that the brace is off. Feb will come round really quickly. I understand totally the emotional part - it's only to be expected after this amount of time. x

Ta hun. I feel daft though! I should be bouncing up and down, but instead I'm lying in bed.

Ah well. Not long in the great scheme of things! :D

so pleased for you Mrs M, and i didn't ride for nearly 3 months due to snow and exams last year anyway, so it can happen even without falling off!

At least D1 and dizz can keep each other going for you, and Feb will be here in no time. Have a celebratory hot choccy with all the trimmings :D

Absolutely excellent news!!! :D :D :D Have you thought of maybe trying some clicker training with Dizzy, to keep you amused? And there's all these in-hand exercises for lateral work...and maybe some loose schooling...lots of useful stuff! :D :D :D

Hm. Good point. We lost weeks and weeks last year :(. Thought we had it sorted this year, with an all-weather school we can hire; and our trailer should be ready soon. Ah well. Will concentrate on other stuff :D

Ta for the hot choccy. I will enjoy it :D

Wonderful news!
Just make sure you look after yourself until February - no sledging or skating when the bad weather (which is probably going to keep us all from riding anyway) comes.

Hurrah, hurrah, brilliant!! I read your post last night when you were all worried about it and eating chocolate in bed. This is fantastic news and February is not that far away really.

And ditto everyone else:-no dancing, skiing, hoola hooping or any other such stuff.

Bet you are so happy :D

Ta hun :D

I am happy, but also a bit out of it, which doesn't make sense! I should be swinging from the treetops, instead I'm (once again!) in bed eating chocolate (and I'm not really that bothered about chocolate any more...).

Skiing. Now there's an idea.... :D:D:D:D;):rolleyes::D
