The Balance Equinox General Purpose Dressage Saddle

Hi All,

Just need a bit of advice please. I promise this is not an ad!

I have recently had to retire my boy and will be selling his saddle but I'm not sure what price to ask for so any ideas would be great.

I have a Balance Equinox General Purpose Dressage Saddle 17.5" Wide fit in Brown. It is in good condition for its age and been looked after well. Got to be at least 8 years old. One nasty scratch that looks like it was the buckle.

I also have the Balance Standard Thickness, Wool Fleece, Saddle Shaped Pad. Again the same age but good condition, i've not used it for 4 years as I got him a gel saddle pad.

I also then have the Balance Pro-complete, 1/2" base pad. Again same age but good condition and not used for 4 years.

Firstly, would you list it all as one lot and if so what would your asking price be? (Recently the same saddle sold on Ebay for £455, good condition)

Or would you list all 3 items separately and if so what would you ask for each item?

Do you think £30 P&P is reasonable?

Also suggestions on where to advertise etc would be great. Don't really want to pay commission if possible.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm really at a loss what to sell it for but unfortunately I have to say goodbye to my boy and want to use what money I can get to have him cremated and his ashes given back to me so he comes home.

Have you tried putting it on the balance Facebook page? I found more success looking at preloved when I was after a balance saddle.
