I was stopped at Badminton a few years back by an elderly couple who puported to be from WHippet rescue, and ased if my dog was an Italien greyhound, no it's a three month old lurcher - surely they shoul have known the difference.

Our 2 IG's are constantly being called "baby Whippets" - I sometimes wish I could put T-Shirts on them saying "We are not Whippets - yes we are fully grown - no we are not starved - yes we are fast - no we don't recall that's why we are on leads" !!
