Over the hill and far awa
my sister!
Had a dreadful session with the Appy in the field on Thursday, spent more time going backwards than forwards and more time standing still than moving at all. I was very disappointed. Today took her in the field with sister on foot. We learnt to ride at the same school (many years ago!) and she tells me it like it is (I'm sure more than any paid instructor would do) and I can hear her in any weather conditions
(she is an infant teacher who can be heard across the play ground)
So did everything in walk tonight, with sister telling me to sit up, raise my hands and put my weight down to slow her etc.etc.
So an excellent session, mare did not stop except when asked, no backwardsness and no going in the wrong direction.
So many thanks to my sis (the other advantage is that she is nearly always availalbe, and we do swap roles too)
