It Has to (obviously) be absorbent, and easy to dispose of...
We keep horseys in pretty much 24/7 in winter so preferabley not have to use too much...
Would we just be better with bog-stanbdard shavings? Have tried Ned Bedz Pro, but isnt like WOW...:P
Thanks x

Tried a lot. Hated shavings, didn't find them absorbant enough.

I use Megazorb as does every other person on the yard now after plenty of trial and error. Its very absorbant, and easy to muck out. Works well with my white horse too!

Shavings or dry white sawdust (or a mixture of two). Some of the girls on our yard have good results with shavings/sawdust and diced cardboard in a mixture - didn't think i'd like it but did their mucking out once or twice and it was quite easy to work with - though wouldn't want cardboard on its own.

I have a corner of flax on mine. Works well, and the better you look after it, the longer it lasts. Absorbs way more than shavings, but no use if you're removing wet every day.

shavings, tried megazorb whiich was fab - very absorbant and stopped it getting smelly but worked out more expensive as you get far less in a bag. So went back to shavings
