just wanting peoples opinion on country boots looking for some for christmas but cant make my mind up... they cant be too expensive either, good old grannie is getting me them
Dont Consider Dublin River Boots Leaky Rubbish or Even Leakier Rubbish Sherwood Furlong boots wet Feet in under 5 minutes and they are claimed fully Waterproof and I tried 3 pairs each pair worse than the last and the Sherwood havent even contacted me back.
I got my Ariat Windermere a year ago for about £130 - as I was pregnant and needed sturdy shoes - and they've been great. I've worn them loads, in all weathers, they've been on the beach, up to the eyes in mud, horse muck etc. They are warm and dry and don't even look old. They come up clean after a good hose down, though I always respray them with Kiwi to make sure they stay waterproof. I even now prefer them to my hiking boots for walking down the woods as they are less slippy and cope with mud better. I haven't ridden in them yet as I prefer my high riders.
Dubarrys all the way. Pricey but well worth it. I have a pair for riding in and around the yard, they're a year old and still as good as new. Bought another pair to wear going out in general.
