I found this web page useing google, its very interesting! I have a question about all english good quality horse feed and supplements. I'm looking for good brand, and I want to cooperate, and sign exclusive distribution agreement. Polish equestrian market increases, and horsemen need the best horse goods. I will be very happy if you show me the best products and put forward argumentation. Thank you very much.
I m looking forward for reply
Regards
Andrew

Thanks for answer. What I need are opinions english horsemen, becouse all sellers say the same think "my horse feed is the best". I m waiting for your argumentation. One very nice person wrote me a private message with examples: winergy and spillers (unfortunatelly in Poland is new distributor of this horse feed- spillers). How about other horse feed and supplements: Top Spec, Blue Chip, AllenandPage, Badminton, etc. I m waiting for your help. Thank you very much.
Best wishes
Andrew

I don't personally think that there is one 'top' horse feed manufacturer - the leading brands are probably of equal quality. I've personally used Dengie, Dodson & Horrell and Spillers and have been pleased with their products.

As TGM said, the best-sellers are probably of similar quality. I like Baileys range, but also use Dengie and Spillers from time to time. I suppose it would depend to a degree on what the most popular equestrian sports are in Poland - you don't want to import tons of racing mix if the majority of riders are into dressage!

Thanks for answers! In Poland are Doddson&Harrel, Baileys, Spillers... I m thinkig about Dengie or Allien&Page (is it a good quality horse feed?) And how about supplements? Do you use vitamins, minerals, electrolites etc- which is the best? I ve found some popular brands in England eg TopSpec, Blue Chip, Winergy, Equivite... are they good, which are the best, the most popular?
Thank you for all answers It is very nice from yor side.

I have a sensitive mare who comes out in lumps from many types of feed. I have found that the Allen and Page range suit her more than others at the moment as she hasnt had a bad reaction to any of their products ( yet! )

I'm a fan of the Allen and Page range of feeds, and also feed the Dengie range of chaffs. I feed TopSpec comprehensive feed balancer, and use Feedmark products for any other supplementation that is needed, such as electrolytes.

NAF do a very wide range of supplements, but personally I think (for the majority of their products) they work out very expensive to feed.

As others have said though, the big feed companies such as Spillers, Baileys, Dodson and Horrell etc are all very similar.

Do you use or any of your horse friends supplements with glucosamine and chondroitin? In Poland this type of products are quite popular. The most popular (and only one) is Cortaflex from Equine America. The biggest disadventage of this product is very high price (about 30% higher than in USA!). Could you tell me some brands? I ve heard that Consequin is good, isn't it? And how about Winery? I saw the web site and I think it is an interesting product.

I use Extraflex HA made by feedmark, which is glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and hyaluronic acid amongst other things. I find it's really good and doesn't break the bank!

We have Cosequin, Newmarket Joint Supplement, Superflex (made by NAF), Sinequin is good but it might still be prescription only - but don't quote me on that!, and various others, but I can't get my brain into gear at the moment.

You might be best doing a search on this forum or posting a more specific post to get people to help.

Haven't used Winergy myself, so can't comment.
Hope this helps a bit!

Can you refer to the market as BRITISH please, not English throughout. We have feed companies up in Scotland too you know!

Personally I currently use (therefore think are good): Dodson & Horrell, Spillers, Halley's and NAF

Sorry for my mistake, England is a part of Britain (I know that). But in Polish we say "Anglia" which is very similar to England, and that’s my mistake. TGM thanks for link- EquiFlex from Healthspan sound really interesting And it is something what I m looking for. As good as Cortaflex but two times cheapper! Maybe you know more intereting horse supplements.... MagicMelon you wrote „Halley’s” – what is it? Bounty your opinion is very helpful! Feedmark has supplement with chondroitin & glucosamine cheaper than Equiflex from Helthspan. It’s interesting brand (and i think feedmark makes good quality supplements) and we haven’t got in Poland distributor. Thanks for all your help.
Best wishes form Poland!
