i've got a sore head cos I went right and horse went left - bog all to do with behaviours etc.

i find it hard to believe that an American, living in the msot sue-happy nation on earth, wrote that to another American who could well have been a personal injury lawyer !

PS. Do Western riders feel OK without hats because its actually quite hard to fall out of a Western saddle?

Lol! Love FHOTD. What an incredible letter haha

Go down to the yahoo rant though- i think there's a recent HHO question in there and don't think it really deserved mocking...about breaches sizes. Or something similar to what was on here the other day anyway

I think the question here was what jod size do you need if you are a size 10,and TBH we all know what size to pick off the shelf but I doubt many of us get the tape measure out all that often so that is a fair one

Maybe the yahoo q should have read "what dress size are 28inch women's breeches?"?

Wow does this mean P can stop my horse tripping and me rolling out the front door?
And can they stop her hitting a fence and pitching me into the floor?
crazy.gif

Or are we only supposed to ride in a nice soft arenas?

Never mind falling off - a big lad I used to exercise went for a friendly nuzzle
tongue.gif
shoved me in the chest with his face and my head went smack back against the (pebble dashed) wall - I was wearing my hat but it still hurt like hell.
Would have been flippin messy if I hadn't.

Re Western riders - I wore a helmet at a little local barrel racing event, I might as well have had horns!!! But yes, I suppose it is harder to fall off a western saddle, you kinda ride it, not the horse

I am shocked at their response I really never imagined their reasons and respose would be so idiotic!
I must say I found it highly amusing, they really do try to spin any load of cr@p don't they?!

Pass the popcorn please Slinky

With reference to Ms P and her philosophy of hats - I have only two words. Good. Grief .

That is all
grin.gif

Wow, just wow! I'll have some of that popcorn and pick-'n-mix, please!

I've landed on my head 3 times now, and on my nose once (yes, literally on my nose). How in hell am I supposed to teach my panicky pony that dropping a shoulder and spinning is not ok, without actually sitting on him? If I waited for him not to be a spooky pony anymore, I'd either never ride, or have to hope the insurance would chip in for an equine brain transplant!
