Hello,

I was wondering where the best place to sell a saddle is? I have tried ebay but havent had any luck! Its a really lovely saddle but is incredibly narrow so interest has been limited.

Thanks :D:)

Maybe you could try horsemart? I wish I did first, mines on ebay now but it sitting at just over 50 quid and not long til it ends. I bought it for 350 and its a really lush saddle but no one seems intrested in buying a saddle off ebay for over 100 quid unless its a known brand, they dont sell like they used to :(. I really hope it goes up as I will be sad if it just goes for just over 50, but it happens, guess its best than being a clotheshorse in the spare bedroom!

hanna you could have set a minimum price for it. I've just sold my wintec on ebay for £150 but it was virtually immaculate, I put a buy it now and a minimum price for auction, 10 days and it's gone in 3!

What type of saddle is it? Horsequest is often good for show saddles. You could try local riding schools or colleges who are often looking.

I think ebay is the best from what i have been told, and from the look of the replys you have had i think thats the best place glad you have asked as i need to sell a saddle one but i have no idea how to pack it up safe so it dont get damaged. Does anyone know the best way?
