Took this tonight :D

Never thought I would see this again. After he lost weight last winter and then hurt his leg last month I never expect to sit on him again.

Only a very short quiet walk around the field (except for a short attempt to get away from me when another horse went past)

The view from Rocky, age 36 and still going strong.

Oh and its my first attempt at on horse photos, dont know how you all manage to do it. As soon as I dropped the reins to take it he set off.

Yes his ears are great, donkey ones :D

I usually ride our other cob, but the view is just not the same

And after 31 years looking at these ears, hers are just too small :D

Sorry, for those of you who haven't seen him.

This is my boy, taken a few weeks ago when he hurt himself, he was feeling very sorry for himself, but its the most recent

What a super boy, and well done for keeping him so well at his age - and indeed the view behind a horse s ears is the best in the world. Had to have a short break from riding because of injury[ not horse related,] and to just go for a ploddy hack again has been wonderful.

:D:D He's such a handsome boy, looks amazing for his age. That headshot is stunning, I hope you have it framed ;)
Lovely thread (and what gorgeous ears...!) x
