The big horse shop?

Lady opposite mine has some of their rugs and they are good. I was going to get one for my mare but they are too big on the shoulder for her. Horse opposite is an ID mine is Shire x TB. I would say they are good for horses that need a big shoulder on their rug.
 
Yes, good rugs, nice big shoulders and extra large tail flap. The bottoms are well shaped so make sure you go for slightly larger if you are in doubt as they sit snug and if there isn't enough length then they can't slip forward and will pull on the shoulder.
 
Only thing I found that did up without straining around my big friesian :D

Theyve not been truly tested yet as not made it on the horse yet but fit well for her broad, 5 hands wide chest.
 
Their lightweight turnout bought last winter didn't appear to be breathable and couldn't use it as horse was wet through sweating underneath it. However, the same horse was fine if changed over to Weatherbeeta MW turnout.

Not impressed with the fit, tight on shoulders and neck on both a cob and a Shire mare.
Rambo XL in contrast was a perfect fit.
 
Yep, got 2 of these for my clydie (he won 1 in their photo competition). I have found them to be a good fit for chunky types and actually have the depth for a 'proper' horse, not a mini skirt like most. Service is good too.
The early models had some quality issues but more recently they have launched the Epic range and I haven't heard any more complaints.

Funny that - sizewise I tried the rambo xl as I love their rugs, it would barely do up! TBHS ones do without straining :)

Just goes to show how different horses are, just like humans I guess.

None of TBHS rugs fit the two horses I've tried them on, whereas the Rambo XL, Weatherbeeta Fushion Contour Stable rug and the Kool Coat Airstream are perfect, despite the Shire being under weight.

It is a shame that the XL has been downgraded to an Amigo from the Rhino range though.
