.... went surprisingly smoothly considering the adverse weather and the fact I did it by myself (need a hot bath now though). Orky has settled in well all things considered but did make me laugh this evening. I moved as he wasn't happy being stabled at every night - weaving etc. At this yard he can stay out most of the time bar heinous weather so hence why I chose it. Then tonight his lordship saw me, cantered to the gate and started begging to be brought in. Calm as a cucumber in his new stable, no weaving nothing! Horses eh

eta: realised this isn't the most interesting of posts. Please excuse me I've been up since 5am and even OH's magic the gathering cards are looking entertaining.

Aww thats great

I also moved yards today - would have been by myself if i could drive the box but instead a lovely lady from my yard did it for me and i drove in my car - moved everything else myself though

!

Makes you feel great when things all go to plan or even if they dont (in my case my mum decided not to come to uni and tow - last night at like 8pm so i had no one to take me!!) but it all sorts itself out in the end. Mines all settled too - i just moved to have a better school

Sounds like you deserve a hot bath too! Glad things went well for you, its so stressful but nice when its all sorted and to see them happy is reassuring. I have a floodlit school now yay will be good to be able to ride apres work.

Hope your horse settles in well, have you moved him to uni with you?

Haha thank you i feel like i do too - shame we only have showers here!

And thank you, i hope yours does also! I have indeed moved him up to uni with me

So so glad i have him up here - moved him up in october and was the best decision ever, well worth spending money on the horse rather than on food and drink hehe
