Wow, Bilbrook is pretty small village, I live on the Bilbrook/Codsall border. I learnt to ride locally, about 40 yrs ago (gulp! that long!!!) but wasn't living so close then, but I can't recall a Riding Club here, but know people with horses that have lived here for ages, I'll ask next time I see them.

Any other info on the badge? Or clue to its age?

I originally come from Codsall and still have many horsey friends in the area. I'm 34 and have never heard of a Bilbrook Riding Club. How interesting though. Any chance of a picture?

Even though I'm all the way down here in sunny ( rainy) cornwall , my OH went to school in codsall and lived in a small villiage called Pattingham ( his folks still live there) , I'll try and find out about Billbrook riding Club

Hi, I checked with my current YO today but she didn't know. But from the badge it looks pretty old to me, I'm guessing 40's - 60's??, But pure speculation on my part. I will check at the weekend with the family I know who have lived here for a good while.

I’m Codsall born and bred. Asked mum and she can remember when Bilbrook was mostly farmland but she doesn’t remember it ever being horse country. At one time there were apparently thousands (possibly a slight exaggeration :)) of horses at Palmers Cross. Would love to know if you find anything out.
