the boy has learned to boink!!

now he is getting fitter and the weather has gotten colder, his lordship has learned to "boink" he sort of jumps up and down on the spot a bit!! once he has settled he works really nicely, can manage changing rein in a straight line now, some leg yeild and shoulder fore, and has just started his trot work in the school, so i think i can live with the boink!! i assume it's a stage i vaugley remember my mare going through boinking as well as the nasty whip/spin shoulder drop, evil baggage

what habits does your horse have or had and how did you cure it??!
 
Sov has the delightful 'warp speed direction change' The 'if you want collection I will do a mini-rear' and the 'aaaargh scary invisible TB eating monster sideways leap'!

My mum hacked him out last week and it was quite enlightening to see what he looks like to others

When i first got Mae she would nap at the gate, got her to stop this by using a schooling whip and keeping my leg on her. She could also be trotting/cantering and do a sharp turn!
