I put a deposit on a Mitsubishi Pajero on sunday .... garage were gonna call to let me know when it had been serviced & MOT'ed but instead they call and say its been stolen from their forecourt last night
The car I was gonna buy has been stolen :-(

Yes, well they said I would, I need to go in with the card i paid on for them to refund it - which obvioulsy I will be doing ASAP!

I would say you will def get your deposit. I would go to see them asap - it's standard practice to need the card to refund if you paid by card.

Make sure you get your deposit back just in case cars from there get 'stolen' regularly once people have paid deposits (ah the cynic in me!!!)
