Just interested to see if anyone has been to see Geoff Billington and Oliver Townsend Champions tour?
Its coming to The Grange Oakhampton on the 29th Jan and was wondering if it was worth going to see? The Grange is not the warmest place on the planet, and would have to go with a hot water bottle stuffed up my jumper, so is it worth freezing my butt off?

I'm sooooo excited too! We are going on the 25th to Arena UK. I will no doubt do a post on it the next day!! eeeeeek!

My mate's sister went to the one in November at Bishop Burton and said it was amazing! I read loads of posts on here too that really rated the evening - hence me scurrying off to locate nearest venue to me and book our tickets lol!

Hello dear hows the weather up your end, we have had about a foot of snow since about 3pm, getting cabin fever too as the signal on our wonderfull 21st centuary tv has gone yet again, blummin satalite dish is upon the roof and covered in snow, cant even go out and hit it with the broom

lol Rudey, calm down dear you will do yourself a mischief,
I think any arena at this time of year is worth wraping up warm, get the thermals on, I will look out for your post then, when you do a report of what it is like

Awwwwwww I wanted to go to the grange one but none of "The last word" girls wanted to as they don't like OT

I can imagine Geoff Billington being a bit of a showman, he comes across as having a good sence of humour, and I too am looking foward to going even more so as the 4 tickets I have was a competition prize.

I'm going to Arena UK on 25th, really looking forward to it, although not sure the OH is, but he does like Geoff so that is good
grin.gif
.....I went to a demo a few years ago at Arena and it was bloomin cold then, so thermals will be coming out along with the hip-flask
wink.gif
....

I went to the one at southview, won the tickets so even better. It was a really great night, not previously been a fan of OT but have to admit he was very funny, and I love Geoffs demos. I imagine any equestrian centre will be pretty cold at the moment, we took blankets to wrap our selves in and were fine, but several other people were cold.
There is a dvd amongst the merchandise but they were having problems with the quality or something before Christmas, hopefully one will be available soon.

i'm going to towerlands on the 24th jan, really looking forward to it.
hope all this snow goes before that!! not fun driving down in this weather!! :S
