Ooow some people have got some cheek (grrrrrhhh...mini rant) its my first one so think so I'm allowed to.
Why do some people always try and get out of paying or delaying payment to the point when it embarrasses you.
Now I always help people out where I can, so if the farrier is coming, I ask if anyone else needs him etc (otherwise you get orrh why didn't you let me know he was coming kinda thing) which is fine.
I put my self out with phone calls and seeing to her horse being shod on the condition that she drops the money off for the farrier the next evening (as he was down at our yard twice) which is fine, happy to do that
What does she do...turns up last night, farrier was there busy shoeing his other clients horse, she's busy lingering in the car park, then darts to my stable ''hiya I'm in hiding, I said why? (thinking she was on about something else perhaps) and asked, have you remembered the money? no that's why I've been in the car park and I've come in here to hide'' and proceeded to laugh like it was it was some kinda joke!
I sighed, you said you'd have the money, oh its ok I can post it she said, hmmm me thinks did he say that?
, yeah right
, have you got his address then?,...erh errr well no, but he said I can pay him next time.
Really...hmmm I wondered to my self.
Spoke to farrier just now, he told her make sure she dropped it off...never mentioned posting it and asked me to chase her up
so why do people lie, do they think I came down in the rain?
It really annoys me, not only do I put myself out but I end up paying the farrier more for my own because he didn't have any change (which is fine), but its cost me £70.00 in the last 4 weeks for my own horse, yet someone else gets there horse shod, seen to, pays nothing then tries their hardest to get away with not paying.. £50!
arhhhhh!!!!!!! I'm not going to bother next time, its not fare on the farrier and it makes me look an daft.
