Well thats it, one less hour to the busy rush after work/school to get the pony done.
Goodbye warm, relaxed, bright evenings, Hello busy, cold, dark evenings :'(
Anyone else depressed that the clocks are back tonight? :(
On the plus side, one extra hour of sleep! :D ;)

Every time the clocks change it takes me ages to work out the right time on my phone, especially when i have to set my alarm 30 mins "late" or "early" (i dont like changing the horses over in 1 day so do 30 for 2 days!!!) i think i am intellectually challenged!!!!!:D

On the plus side it wont be so dark when i wake up in the morning:D

I'm hating it even more tonight as I'm on a 12hr nightshift! So that makes it a 13hr night shift now. Oh lucky me! Plus it's my birthday on sunday!!!

If you really do hate it :p, have a look at this website:

http://www.lighterlater.org/

and join the campaign to stop the clock change!

Ummm actually that site still advocates the clock change as per usual - they just want us to put the clocks forward for an hour too...so we are GMT+1 and GMT+2 - like Europe...they are nothing to do with the stopping of clock changing!

Well, the idea is that we have MORE daylight in the evenings specifically. The BHS are lending their support to the campaign - more riders prefer to hack out in the evenings, it would make it safer for all road users (not just riders) and all outdoor activities would be more accessible. Makes sense to me - I can't get to the yard in the mornings (have to be at school for 8.00 - teacher) but my day finishes at 3.20, so another hour in the evening would be really good (45 mins - 1 hour journey to school). There is an article in the Nov/Dec issue of British Horse magazine.

caitlin u wouldnt of known this if i wasnt for me;)
grrr its guna be pitch black for my lessons and freezing :(
hello extra hour of sleep tonight! :D

I dont understand why we dont just stay on GMT+1 simple no clock changes and the latest it would get dark in mid winter would be about 5 pm GMT +2 it would be light till nearly midnight in mid summer so then the temptation to stay up late and then be knakerd in the morning...

Ditto this

I like the clocks changing actually, I work on a stud and we start at 7am, it was pitch black and checking horses is no fun in the dark. I don't mind the other change as I am sitting up foaling when it happens so get an hour off work!
