Hi, does anyone know of the breeding for The Dark Emperor? Really like him, or does anyone know of any 148 ponies that act like him in in being very bouncy and fast. Am looking for something along those lines, so if you know of one that also jumps 1.20m+ and like him please let me know. Rider really benefits from forward and stronger ponies as she is used to them. Thank you!xx

Did I not read somewhere that he's having to be retired due to some kind of strain on his limbs from how he jumps?

I believe he is just quite a common welsh d, nothing specific. It's just him and his lion heart that is special! Lots of 148 ponies are bouncy and fast, and also jumping at the top of their game, they also cost top £££ but thats the price you pay for a pony at the top of its game.

He was a gypsy cob. I think he's being brought down levels because of his hocks but is not retiring just yet. You may like Hillgarth ponies, they're fast, quirky Sec Ds.

He will retire soon i think but not just yet i think kate will keep him going a bit longer if his hocks heal okxx

Hi all, I know this is an older post but I used to ride Nero when Sophii had him. His breeding is completely unknown but believed to be Welsh D. He's a prime example of no breeding but a lot of heart!
