The difference a week makes...

Posted last week about a slightly disastrous outing we had and very negative dressage sheet. Well this week we went to a PC interbranch dressage comp and my daughter scored a very respectable 65.84% and came 6th.
Just shows that sometimes it all going wrong can be the best kick up the bum you can get.

On another vein any tips on how to ride circles that look like circles as this seems to be a major problem she has!!!

Thankyou, we are both chuffed to bits. The judge wrote some lovely constructive comments and said he was a lovely pony!!!

Well done to your daughter! A tip for riding circles that has worked for my Sprog is:

Assuming you are riding a 20m circle at A, then first practice riding a square, the points of which square touch A, X and half way between B/E and the A end of the school. Once you have perfected that, then still ride between the same four points but make the lines in between curved not straight.
