Just thought I'd let you know that I adopted a dog from the Dog Trust at the weekend.

Their reps were knocking on doors in my village - and the young girl was very suprised to be met with me opening the door saying 'Yes', before she'd even asked anything.

I couldn't pick a dog to sponser (emotionally too hard), so will have one chosen for me.

£8 a month - bargin!

I sponsor 2 dogs with the dogs trust, I used to have 2 dogs, german sheperd who died at 6 & 1/2 he had enlarged heart and spleen, and a mongrel who was pts on her 16th birthday. I never intended on having another dog so thought I'd sponsor 2 instead which I 've done for the last few years and will continue, along came Bailey a year ago, we rehomed her, she's a english springer spaniel, liver and white and is THE most affectionate dog I've known and thats saying something comparing her to my GSD. She's 2 now
