So its possible part of the reason I haven't yet been home for Christmas is that getting back for carriage driving can be a bit of a nightmare, thankfully Mum understands this version of priorities . Totally worth it as we were both novice pony winners and overall champions of the day. Abley backstepped by rara of course, who didn't even drive her own pony today, big baby horse did a superb job of a tight course with her though. But being a terrible groom I forgot to the turn the camera on for him. . .

I'm really hoping @lottiepony includes a fabulous photo of fancy dress outfit, it was a hot competition! We were fairly minimal this week, we went full throttle on our pre christmas trip to Surrey where he was again of course epic, winner with Rara and 4th with me in VERY competitive classes. I'm slightly worried as rara has previously been quite anti dressing up but one trip to home bargains and she came home with a lot of it.

Ah what fabulous fun we had! Frank was too keen in the practice run to then forget how to turn tightly…don’t think we drove any of our planned lines lol. However by the end of it we were back on track! Annoying faulted in the last round which was our fastest but took second place and got a bag of treats too as well as a beautiful rosette. Second place for fancy dress can you guess the film?

Well at least 2 teeth were removed from the shark so ….

I was most impressed by her anatomically correct design of multiple rows of teeth
