The Egypt Horse Project now in the hands of activists

7 equines go to Jill Barton, I hope that it just the start as the ones Ms Lotherington is keeping, are they even hers to keep (?) are the ones that are most in need and who the petition is mostly about. At least 7 will now be fed, kept clean and have any medication needed and eventually find new homes.

Sickening comments on TEHP page from supporters that STILL worship the monster that is Ashleigh Lotherington. Psychopaths DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SPOTS.

TEHP needs closing down and I/We will continue with all our pressure until it has gone for good. Salwa and Mariam need arresting, they are as evil as Ashleigh.

Harsh words I know, but all that will happen is the 'new' stables will soon be as overcrowded. Ashleigh is a hoarder. Homes were offered 3 times over for the dogs and Ashleigh would not let them go. It is not even selfish, its deranged and dangerous behaviour that makes the poor animals the losers, every single time.
 
Not the result that was hoped for as until every equine, dog, cat and chicken is removed from TEHP, Ms Lotherington and the activists Salwa and Mariam known to one an all as the abusers they are, will this campaign stop.

The Questions page are already congratulating themselves on having achieved this cave in by Ashleigh, nothing to do with everyone else combined efforts, it was Amanda seeing the real pics of TEHP that changed her mind and the apology on TEHP is surely Amandas hand not Ashleighs. No matter tho, as long as the pressure continues from whatever source or people, and there are many of us.

The Questions should stay up tho as will have use as a pointer should Ms Lotherington start YET ANOTHER 'charity' (a misnomer if ever there was one) and the picture I want to show is on link below. Taken over a year ago, this horse has a broken leg and Ashleigh set it and put the cast on, proving how dangerously deluded and egotistical this young woman truly is. Ashleigh is not repentant, she will be so ANGRY right now, choking with rage at having been 'outed' as the crazy she is. Sign the petition if you havent already, 2300 signatures now and complain to ACNC and other equine welfare groups. Lets get these names on a 'hot list' with them all.

This is from TEHP and was made by the founders mother, clearly nothing has changed, the above statement can be shown to be lies by the photos of the smiling husband of the founder watching a poor donkey having his leg amputated in what looks like a car-park. These damning photos can be seen on the Q&A fb group.

Whilst I rejoice that some 7 equines will be going to Jills sanctuary I fear for the others especially as TEHP has signed a lease for a new property with the activists.

Tazzytop you have been very critical of the Q& A group and extremely personal by naming people, whatever your feelings about them they have raised awareness of what was going on and have kept up a constant pressure on TEHP. They have involved local people and have kept everyone updated with the truth of what was happening at TEHP, everything posted by admin on the group is a fact and can be proved very often backed up by photographic evidence.

TEHP have constantly called the Q&A fb group the hate group, in fact the only thing we hate is cruelty, TEHP hate Q&A because we speak the truth, they do not and for them to carry on albeit down sizing is a worry with them still very cosy with the activists.

Ashleigh is, as always, hiding behind her Moms skirt and the comments on TEHP main page are sickening, the lies and subterfuge is outrageous - sign the petition if you haven't already. Despite pictures and desperate pleas to DO SOMETHING from TEHP admin, supporters and local people on the ground in Cairo, Ashleigh still refused to do anything to help the animals. Her husband, Ahmed Medo, keeps the gates locked so no-one can gain access. Even though people asked local charities to go in, without TEHP asking for help or allowing them in their hands were also tied. Ashleigh and Ahmed Medo (her husband) refuse to answer questions, answer emails, answer phone calls, answer letters, answer FB messages.

TEHP is still deleting comments from the main page. If anyone decides to comment on TEHP main page can you really think about what to ask so it is as interrogative as possible, then do a print screen immediately it has been posted. you will be deleted and banned but at least have proof of their duplicity.

A lot of people have already done this, Mum has been busy, deleting then re-instating, deleting and banning, the reason for TEHP reputation being ruined is down to the Q&As page according to mum and she says if only people had asked questions of them rather than running off and bad mouthing them.. The fact that the site is so heavily censored and only very positive comments were allowed to stand never crossed mums mind.

It seems that Skype was used several times a day to monitor the stables and the admins were fully aware of what conditions were like there but were not concerned enough to do anything about it. They would all have been well aware of the lack of food there and the inmates starving.
 
The Aussie admins and Ash had control of the donations and it seems Ahmed Medo was selling feed on so even the pictures showing sparse food deliveries were soon depleted further. Ash cut anyone out who pushed her too hard about WTF was going. Thats why the local lady tried to help, buying feed (horse and dog) and putting a groom in there for a while until the Medo brothers drove him away with their behaviour. Ash was still saying then that all the equines would go to Jill when she arrived, of course she reneged on that once Jill arrived.

Please keep signing and sharing the petition everyone, we must get TEHP charitable status removed.

As this charity is registered with the Australian Charity Commission I would suggest that complaints are also directed to the Australian Charity Commision about the behaviour of this animal charity so that then strike them off and they loose their charity status.

I've reported all the different problems to them but they gave me a generic reply basically saying they can't do anything. Useless.

Dobiegirl, don't know whose quote is on the petition, but don't think it will do your case any favours, sounds more of a rant than a reasoned argument.

Surely if someone with the right contact within the media / a local paper, they could somehow push this forward and bring more attention to the plight of these poor animals? The power of social media is a wonderful thing in the right hands... It just needs the right person, in the right place, with the right savvy to work the system.

Well you are wrong Snaffles, so far a number of horses and donkeys have gone to a sanctuary run by a well respected lady and her husband, Ashleigh Lotherington signed them over after some very hard negotiating Trying to get the 3 legged donkeys out is proving more difficult as the activists are trying to take them now, talks are ongoing so fingers crossed for a happy outcome.
